ABOUT RAHUL KAMRA
Honest discussions with closest friends can really change your life. That’s how Ketorets started as an Instagram page in January 2019, over a cup of tea. What started as a passion project to share secrets and experiences from my personal Ketogenic lifestyle, which started on 27 November 2017 and continues till date, is now about personalized diet curation for my clients.
Ketorets’ first client came on board on 14 April, 2019 and till now I have curated this lifestyle for above 1000 people who live in more than 27 countries across the globe. Ketorets, now is not only about my journey but also about this community and their individual transformations.
To forward this vision and mission of Ketorets, I started to further educate myself in the science of food and nutrition by doing courses in keto, health and nutrition, food plating, and more. I am currently studying about Gut health, Community preferences and effects on food.
Having graduated in Hotel Management from Institute of Hotel Management, Mumbai (Batch of 2014), I had a foundation in nutrition and food basics. I have over the years refined myself to understand the intricacies of our relationship with food.. both physical and emotional.
Everybody needs a mentor and a guiding force. I’m lucky to have that in my mother, Kumkum Kamra who is a nutritionist herself (MSc. Foods and Nutrition, Pantnagar University). Her expertise and great understanding of Indian ingredients, help me design recipes for people with specific tastes and choices.
However, Ketogenic lifestyle is not just about educating yourself, it is about experiencing it and understanding what works best for you. My approach, and patterns & formats, that I apply while curating this diet, are learned over time and have come from my personal experience, a tedious journey of burning my own fingers, so that no one has to reinvent the wheel.
Oh, on a lighter note, I am also the diet curator for my sister Kritika Kamra, her dear friend Pooja Gor, Mohit Raina, and their circle of friends. Trust me, they are my fussiest clients
Apart from being a diet curator, I wear different hats of an Actor, Brand Auditor, Restaurant Consultant and Menu Curator, a passionate traveler, and the discovery continues..
I trained at Vivanta by Taj President, Cuffe Parade, Mumbai during my graduation. I went on to work with Zomato as a Key Accounts Manager for about a year and understood that corporate world was not my true calling.
I ventured out as an actor, a brand auditor, a menu consultant, and a diet curator. I can truly say that my life is an adventure which I thoroughly enjoy.
I love to travel – solo, unplanned, just me, my Mahindra Thar and a bulletproof coffee. Do catch a glimpse of my travel story in this short video.
